The Esquif Avalon canoe is built for paddlers who live for canoe camping, long days on the water, and the satisfaction of covering real distance. Fast, light, and easy to maneuver, the Avalon is designed for trippers who want efficiency on lakes, confidence on rivers, and the ability to handle the occasional set of rapids. Its refined hull delivers straight tracking and an excellent glide between paddle strokes, helping you travel farther with less effort.

Re-engineered in 2025 and now available in T-Formex Lite, the Avalon makes portages easier without giving up the durability Esquif is known for. A built-in kneeling thwart makes solo paddling comfortable and controlled, while the balanced design shines whether you’re loaded for a multi-day trip or moving light and fast.

Available at Wilderness Supply in Winnipeg and Thunder Bay, the Esquif Avalon is the ideal tripping canoe for paddlers who want speed, efficiency, and confidence on lakes and rivers across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.

Pricing & Pickup

At Wilderness Supply, we work hard to keep canoe pricing fair and predictable. Canoe prices are either listed at the manufacturer’s MSRP or include a small portion of the freight cost to one of our retail locations, with the rest covered by us. That means in-stock canoes and boats pre-ordered on our regular bulk shipments don’t incur surprise shipping fees.

Canoes ordered outside our bulk shipment windows may incur additional freight charges to our retail store locations. We will always discuss and confirm that with you in advance.

Our goal is simple: make it easy to get the right boat, at a fair price, with no guesswork and no last-minute surprises.
