Backpackers Pantry Mocha Mousse Pie

Dessert in the backcountry is usually a prepackaged bar or a couple of cookies that got crumbled in your pack while hiking. No longer! Indulge, with our easy to prepare Backpacker’s Pantry Mocha Mousse Pie. It is so easy to prepare and easy and convenient to bring along on the longest or shortest of trips.

Simply remove the packet of graham cracker crumbs and then add one cup of water to the powdered mix inside the pouch and mix for two minutes. The hardest part is letting it sit for ten minutes. Then add the graham cracker crumbles to the gourmet Mocha Mousse Pie and enjoy.

Preparation:

  • Remove and discard enclosed oxygen absorber before beginning food preparation.
  • Remove graham cracker crumb packet and set aside.
  • Add 1 cup (240 mL) of cold water to filling mix, beat briskly with two forks for 2 minutes.
  • Let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over top of filling.
