Remember to take some time and plan outdoor activities this summer. Make the best of the great weather that is coming our way. In this day and age, everyone has such busy lives and schedules. After a long day at the job, you may just feel like plopping on the couch watching old sitcom re-runs for the 10th time....but try getting out during the week. Get out on the bike, take a walk, go for a paddle. Spend a half hour or hour doing something active. You may feel sluggish at first but you will be amazed how re-energized and amazing you feel after doing something fun!

The best time of the year to see a number of different styles all set up at once! Make sure you check out all the huge deals in the store as well at 623 Ferry Rd. Paddle Manitoba and Raven Rescue bring the international standards of Rescue 3's Whitewater Rescue Technician 1 and Advanced courses to Manitoba for the first time. These courses are designed specifically for professional guides, private boaters, park service personnel, and others who work or play around moving water. You will learn to use techniques and simple equipment to assess and perform river rescues. Presented in three- day and two-day formats, the courses focuse on realistic problems that you may face while in the backcountry. The emphasis is on fast, low-tech and improvised rescue techniques that are effective and require minimal equipment. The course builds the necessary skill and confidence for you to perform safe and effective rescues. You will receive a course manual and certification as part of your fees. Prerequisites: None but experience with moving water is recommended.
