REEL Paddling Film Festival - Winnipeg / April 19

Tickets now on sale!

This year's REEL Paddling Film Festival will be held on Tuesday April 19 at the Gas Station Theatre (Osborne).The festivval showcases the world's best paddling films, inspiring more people to explore rivers, lakes and oceans, push physical and emotional extremes, embrace the lifestyle and appreciate the heritage of the wild places we paddle. Proceeds from this year's event will go to the Lake Winnipeg Foundation.

Tent Expo at Wilderness Supply Winnipeg / June 17, 18

Join us Friday afternoon from 2-8 pm and Saturday from 10-4 pm to see over 40 models of tents set up for your viewing pleasure at Bord-Aire CC (around the corner from the store). This is the best opportunity in the city to see all the best tents available set up at one time. Find your new back country shelter both large and small.

WAVpaddling courses are now available for the spring / summer 2011 season. Offerings include guided and instructed trips, beginner - level 2 kayak, flat, moving and tripping canoe courses. Map and compass navigation courses also available. Registration for all courses are NOW OPEN. See you on the water!

Wild Adventurers

  • Congratulations to Wilderness Supply employee Tim Wintoniw, who competed in a 24 hour ski race in Thunder Bay and won by a landslide.  Skiing 276 km, Tim beat out the second place winner by a full 62 km!
