This Black Friday, Nov 27th, we will be closed so we can send our staff to volunteer at the Regional Food Distribution Association (RFDA) to help change the face of hunger.
Because of all that the Regional Food Distribution Association does for our community, we are more than happy to give them our time and donations.
Starting Saturday, Nov 28th, the RFDA will be at our location to launch a month long food drive. Until Dec 21st we will be acting as a drop-off site and will be accepting monetary & food donations on their behalf.
Regional Food Distribution Association is helping change the face of hunger. The RFDA works in cooperation with a network of community based nonprofit agencies that serve individuals and families in need, and provides reliable emergency food services. In any given month the RFDA's food banks and feeding programs provide over 13,00 people with hampers containing 3-5 days of food, with over 26,000 meals provided in a month. In addition the RFDA also provides needed services like: teach cooking skills, plant gardens, preserve foods, support local businesses and more!
