About WAVpaddling

WAVpaddling is central Canada's paddling school. We provide highly personalized, small group, and paddling instructional adventures.

Our instructional team is made up of the most experienced and active instructors in the province. Our team members are nationally certified and have gone through a rigorous training and testing program in order to ensure the highest level of safety and quality in all of our programs. Professional and passionate, we teach using proven progressions and the most recent techniques.

Our instructional equipment is of the highest quality and our boats are chosen for all-round high performance use and comfortable, confident learning.

From beginners looking for their first guided experience to advanced paddlers looking to develop their on lake or river skills, all of our programs are customized to match the goals, skills, and experience of the participants.

Committed to the Community

WAVpaddling is committed to developing and supporting the paddling community in Manitoba and our team has over 30 years of collective experience teaching and guiding on our local waters. Our instructors are active members of the Manitoba Whitewater Club, Paddle Manitoba, and Paddle Canada.

WAVpaddling is proud to be the official instructional affiliate of the Manitoba Whitewater Club and a founding sponsor since it's inception in 2003. We continue to enjoy our partnership and are kept busy running customized club clinics, supporting events, and providing access to gear and expertise where necessary.

WAVpaddling has been offering nationally certified programs through Paddle Canada since it's inception and is a proud corporate life member of Paddle Manitoba.
