2nd Winnipeg Location Now Open!
It's been an exciting weekend around here! Saturday was the grand opening of our new second Winnipeg location on 42 Speers Road.
It was great to see so many people out for our first day! When I arrived an our before opening to set up, there were already people waiting outside. By the time we unlocked the doors at 10:00 over 50 people were waiting to get in to the store!
The first thirty people in line got their choice of a goodie from our prize box. Lots of big smiles... though I felt bad for the lovely couple that were #31 and 32!
The store was buzzing all day long. Thanks to everyone who came by to check out the fancy new digs; we're very excited to expand to be bringing our camping, hiking, climbing and paddling gear into the south-east end of the city!
Our new location at 42 Speers Road is now open 10-6 Mondays-Wednesdays, 10-7 Thursdays and Fridays, and 10-5 Saturdays. You can reach the Speers location at 231-8226.
Our location at 623 Ferry Road is still open for those whose adventures find them in the northwest of the city.
